Wear very high heels in moderation.
If you wear shoes higher than two inches, do so for short periods of time and never for two days in a row.
Shop for shoes late in the day.
Feet swell in the course of your daily activities, so try on shoes when your feet are at their largest.
Get measured regularly.
Just because you were a size 7 at age 20 doesn’t mean you’ll still be at 40. Your feet grow as you age.
Avoid heat buildup.
Heat can cause discomfort and blistering. Choose shoes made of breathable materials and put a little powder inside to help keep your feet dry.
